  1. The specific aim of Fish Wives fishing days is to encourage more ladies to go fly fishing
  2. Fish Wives is open to anyone ladies or gentlemen, who would like to fish, alone or with a bit of help and support but not interference.
  3. Fish Wives meet weekly, on a Monday, at different fisheries from March to October and weather permitting through the winter months.
  4. Lunch will be provided on some days at a cost of £5.00 per person. See details on Venue and Dates. Otherwise please bring a packed lunch.

  6. Outfit hire and rod licence will be available from Tracy or the fishery by arrangement.
  7. Experience days/New ladies who need coaching, will be charged £85.00 including all equipment, which should be paid in full in advance. In the event that the day is cancelled, the booking can be transferred to another day.
  8. Fish Wives and Guests to sign in and pay Fishery fee on arrival at the fishery.
  9. All Fish Wives and guests must have a valid Environment Agency Rod Licence
    1. This can be purchased when booking (£5.00) with Rod Hire (£15.00)
    2. Rod Licences are available from the Post Office or Online. Annual – £27 (Senior Citizens £18); Daily – £3.75
  10. Rod Hire is available at each fishing day but must be booked in advance £15.00 (£20 including Rod Licence)
  11. Appropriate clothing for the weather and activity must be worn: long sleeves, long trousers, no bright colours; wet weather clothing as necessary.
  12. Safety equipment: a. Hat – baseball cap or other. Glasses – Polaroid preferable so you can see fish. c. Footwear – appropriate for the ground conditions (no open toes)
  13. Lunch will be provided at some fisheries, please see venue list for details. Dietary requirements should be advised when booking
  14. Advise when booking any medical conditions that might affect the days fishing
