A few changes

I have enjoyed Fish Wives, encouraging ladies back into fishing and starting a few off on the sport, has been rewarding and a great excuse to get out more often myself.

In 2017 I reduced the number of lunches I produced as I have developed other business interests and the return of my family and increased business commitments have eaten into my time.  We also had a number of guest days where friends and family husbands etc came to fish.

In 2018 I am making a few changes.  There will be no fee this year to belong to Fish Wives.  You know who you are and I have your emails!

I would like to encourage anyone ladies or gentlemen who have had a go and would like to continue but don’t know where to go to fish or where to hire equipment (the outfit) to come along on a Monday between the end of March and October and join the ladies who ‘do’. Dates are on this website.

I am still offering the experience day for someone who has never fished before this will cost £85.00 and Andrea Smith or myself will ensure you are able to cast a fly line and fish the fly, catching a fish is something else.

So I look forward to seeing you all again and meeting more of you who keep saying ‘I must go fishing next year’.

Tight lines.

Dates and venues are now on line.

Tracy has now put together the list of venues for 2018 Have a look at the upcoming events page.  There are several new fisheries, Manningford, Petworth, Avon Springs, and Chiphall just to ring the changes from our favorite places Holbury Lakes, Meon Springs, Damerham and Wherwell.

A day on the river at Leckford is planned for early September but this will depend on a quick response from those interested in a more expensive but wonderful day on a river coming back to me soon so I can secure enough beats.
