Fly Fishing with Fish Wives

The concept of Fish Wives; is to provide a relaxing and pleasant day with good food, good company and great sport in an idyllic location and do something to resolve the dearth of female game anglers on our river banks and lake sides.  Fish Wives is a great experience for new ladies to try their hand at fly fishing or those that already enjoy fly fishing but feel more comfortable knowing that there are other ladies around.

We fish on still water fisheries in Hampshire and Sussex, every Monday  between the end of March and October.  We some times push the boat out and go river fishing and on the odd occasion we go on holiday to Wales or Scotland.

Two Fish & Lunch

Two fish and LunchThis experience is held at Damerham Trout Fishery.

The day starts with coffee & biscuits, and introductions as people arrive at the fishery.

For Ladies who do…

You are welcome to arrive at any time. You can get on with fishing your Day Ticket.

For Ladies who would like to…

Tracy provides an introduction to the sport by explaining how the outfit (rod, reel and line) works and showing you how to put it all together. Once you have your outfit, you use a tag of wool, instead of a hook, to practice casting, moving onto the water with a hook,  to hopefully, catch your first fish.

Lunch is served at a convenient time to suit the day and we have cake at tea time.

Damerham dates can be seen on our Upcoming Events Calendar.  To book please Contact Us
